Pegasus Hostel is situated in central Berlin, just a 5 minute walk from the overground (S-Bahn) and long distance train station Ostbahnhof. All of Berlin's main attractions can be reached easily and quickly from here. The building was built in 1903, and all rooms are newly renovated, quiet and sunny.
The building, lying in a leafy, quiet inner courtyard, was built in 1903 and used back then as a Jewish girls dormitory. We have about 200 beds and offer rooms with 1-8 beds. All rooms have high ceilings, typical of Berlin's 'Altbau' buildings, and are sunny and quiet. There are wash basins in every room and showers in every corridor.
Our hostel is open 24 hours a day all year round, we have free internet excess, free lockers, free luggage room and a fully equipped kitchen for our guests' use.
We sponsor free walks in English, Spanish and German for our guests - every day!
We also offer a breakfast € 4,90 in our restaurant and café, and invite our guests to regular barbecue evenings in summer.

We promise you an enjoyable and pleasant stay.
Pegasus Hostel is visited by lone travellers, small groups and families. We receive an international mix of guests and the average age of our guests is in the mid twenties.
Please note that bed linen is not included in the dorms but can be rented for €2.50.

How to reach us
From the "Ostbahnhof " train station an 8 minute walk.
Just down the road "Straße der Pariser Kommune" we are on the left hand site - number 35!
From the "Central Station - Lehrter Stadtbahnhof":
6 minutes via underground number S3/S5/S7/S75/S9 to the "Ostbahnhof" train station.
From Tegel airport:
30 minutes via shuttle TXL to "Alexanderplatz", then any underground S3/S5/S7/S75/S9 to the "Ostbahnhof"train station.
From Schönefeld airport (20 minutes ):
Underground S9 or S45 to train station Ostbahnhof.
By car:
Motorway 100 /110, exit "Zentrum " then towards „Alexanderplatz, Friedrichshain".

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel a reservation, please note that:
a) for any 72+ hours advance notice: it does NOT provide any cancellation fee. Nonetheless, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
b) for any 72- hours advance notice or in case of a No-Show: if not otherwise reported by the establishment, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee corresponding to the price of the first night per person.
Both customer and establishment will receive an automated notification of the cancellation via e-mail. In every case, deposit and booking fee are no-refundable.
