Description
A small, charming, boutique hostel in the very centre of historic downtown perfectly located on the dividing line between the the Vaci-street-fashion-street all-pedestrian area by the river and the nightlife/entertainment quarter, packed with trendy pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants.
We are 3 minutes walk away from blue, yellow and red metro line stops, night buses and trams to the Buda side - providing an ideal base for exploring Budapest’s rich past as well as its vibrant multicultural present.
Our mission is not only to provide comfortable, secure, clean and spacious accommodation for you, the budget traveler, but also to accommodate you in attractive surroundings. We recommend our double and four bed private rooms for anyone wishing to stay in calm and pleasant surroundings after an exhausting day of sightseeing. The property is situated on the top floor of a renovated historic building, with its balconies looking onto the Synagogue, a curving avenue of classic historic buildings, and the Buda hills. Staying here you can not only see Budapest’s history, but you can live in it for a while!
There is a cosy common room - with cable television, DVD library, and free unlimited Internet - where you can relax and meet other travelers, chat with your friends, read books and free English language newspapers, or play board games on a rainy day. You are welcome to prepare your own meals in our fully equipped kitchen or you can pop down to one of the many cheap or fancier eateries around if you prefer to eat out.
Our staff are on hand to answer your questions during reception hours, and give you the inside scoop on night spots, new and exciting events, historic sites, restaurants, trips, or help you getting around. A high standard is maintained to ensure that your stay with us is comfortable. As we are a small place, you can expect personal attention and good accommodation at a reasonable price.

If you happen to arrive before check-in time, you are welcome to leave your luggage at the reception from 9am.
Your payment is due upon arrival in Hungarian Forints or Euros. Unfortunately at the moment we cannot accept credit cards.

How to reach us
From Airport Terminal 1 and 2:
Take bus #200 to Kõbánya Kispest (terminal). Walk up the (ugly orange) passageway then down to the metro (on your left). Go ten stops and get off at Deák tér. Look for the exit sign (kijárat in Hungarian), it will be on your left. Take the escalators one level higher, then turn left and go one more level higher. Walk up the opposite right stairs when you get out of the metro area. You should find yourself on Deák tér (square), then walk about 3 minutes ahead till you reach Károly krt. # 24.

from Airport Terminal 1 take the train to Nyugati Railway Station. Follow the directions provided below.
Nyugati Railway Station:
Take the metro (blue line/M3) heading towards Kõbánya-Kispest for two stops. Get off at Deák tér. Look for the exit sign (kijárat in Hungarian), it will be on your right. Take the escalators one level higher, then turn left and go one more level higher. Walk up the opposite right stairs when you get out of the metro area. You should find yourself on Deák tér (Deák square), then walk ahead about 3 minutes till you reach Károly krt. # 24.
Keleti Railway Station:
Take the metro (red line) heading to Déli Pu. for two stops. Get off at Astoria. When you get out of the metro area walk up the opposite right stairs (there are two stairs on the opposite right, you have to take the one going right, not straight ahead). You should find yourself on Károly krt. Walk ahead about 2 minutes until you reach Karoly krt. #24.
