From the main touristic attractions of the old town we mention : Uffizi Art Gallery, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Santa Croce, the wonderful Signoria Market and Duomo, all these at only 2 - 10 minutes distance by step, in this zone full of craft shops and antiques.

From the railwaystation
on foot: 15 minutes on the following route:
Duomo-Piazza Republica-Ponte Vecchio; cross Ponte Vecchio, turn first left on Via dei Bardi and then turn first right and you arrive in Vicolo del Canneto
by taxi: aprox 15 Euro
by bus : C or D or another bus that stops at Ponte Vecchio.
From the airport Peretola FLR - 7 miles (11 km )
by taxi: aprox 40 Euro
From the highway :
take the exit Firenze Scandicci, straight ahead to the center of Firenze and follow the path: Ponte de la Vittoria-Fortezza-Piazza Libertà-Piazza Beccaria-Piazzale Michelangelo, after you cross the first bridge over Arno ( Ponte San Nicolo ), turn first right and drive to Palazzo Pitti, on Lungarno Serristori, until you arrive in Via dei Bardi; turn left and you are already in Vicolo del Canneto nr. 2
