On the Avenida dos Aliados, 20 minutes away from the Airport (by car/metro), nearby São Bento railway station and subway station, less than 10 minutes away from Douro river (on foot), where the historic centre, "Ribeira", and the famous Port wine cellars can be found.Coming by Metro: Take the line E (Violet) connects Airport Station to Estádio do Dragão Station and, naturally to all metro's network, you need then change train, taking yellow line "D", direction João de Deus - Gaia all the way to Aliados.
